Booking signing at Cley
I had an excellent day for my book signing at Cley Marshes Visitor Centre, in spite of the, shall we say, interesting weather that swept along the North Norfolk Coast. A morning of breezy sunshine merged uneasily into a showery state of affairs, before giving way to heavy rain and gale force winds. But Cley is a special place whatever the weather and even a day spent viewing through the centre windows yielded good views of the likes of spoonbill, ruff, peregrine and black-tailed godwit. Plenty indeed, to bring folk out onto this wonderful stretch of coastline and make for a most pleasant and successful day. I sold a number of copies of 'Never a Dull Moment' and, as always with such events, enjoyed the opportunity of meeting and speaking with other like-minded people.
